Q.

Hi. My child is 5.5 months old now. She keeps sucking her fingers even after a satisfying feed. Instead of playing with the toys, she licks them continuously and tries to bite them. While lying on tummy she tries to bite / lick the cloth. Is it something normal which will be reduced later or is there anything concerning?

A. Hello dear parent, Sucking fingers and toys does jot always mean that baby is hungry. Baby is enjoying it. As baby is exploring his fingers and things around also this habit will go off once baby will start sitting and playing wither things. Good luck and take care
