A. Hi.. i have tried a lot of the above options to give to my baby but he is ignoring most of the food I offer him.!! 1 month before he use to eat all the dals and vegetables, but now he just ask me to take away these food if i place them in front of him to eat! His meals have reduced to 1/2 of what he use to eat earlier! I am very much concerned about his diet! I consulted my doctor as well so she recommended me to give him iron syrup saying iron deficiency causes lack of appetite.!! Can you suggest me what should i do???

A. you can add vegetables in the rice or the khichdi at this age you have to offer everything which is made at home to your child. you have to give 500 ml milk everyday and you can either give milk or milk products but the amount should be total of 500 ml you have to give at least one and half katori rice and one katori dal everyday you have to give at least one and half katori vegetables everyday you have to give at least one and half katori wheat/roti products to the child everyday you have to give at least two fruits everyday you can go for different recipes and flavours according to your local delicacieds and diets you can add ghee as well as dry fruits to the diet.
