Q.

HI My breastfeeding daughter is not pooping from more than 5 days. She is not having any issue like stomac pain or something. From her birth she is pooping once in a week. Please suggest do i need to change anything in my diet.

A. Your newborn should have a bowel movement at least once a day during the first month. If they don't, call your doctor, as the baby may not be eating enough. After that, a formula-fed infant should have one at least one a day, but breastfed infants can go several days or even a week without one.
