Hi my bevy is 4 months 17 days old.. N he is pooping ones in 3 or 4 days.. N is completely breast fed m finding few hair in his poop... Can it cause any problems... N he drools alot these days before I had no issue with this... Bcoz of this hair is he not pooping

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is 4 months 17 days of age having constipation There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age

Hi Not pooping for 3 to 4 days is completely normal but having hair into the potty is definitely not a very healthy sign you should just get a check with your doctor if needed just go for a stool test as that way with the reports you will have much more clarity about the issue
