Hi, My Baby is suffering from cold for more than 20 days now, she is making grunting sound with the nose even now but no runny nose, our doctor gave nasoclear drops and still it is same from 20 days Is it any cause for concern ?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. please put nasoclear drops in the nose Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

Yes Definitely because your child is having cold for last 20 days and it is not subsiding so I believe it could be mostly due to some kind of an allergy also so it’s better to get it checked once properly for a for the check up you can consult an ENT doctor as well
