Q.

Hi, My baby is four months old.He has swelling on his thigh of vaccination at time of birth,still swelling is not reduced.we visited doc he gave ampicillin for one week and asked to observe,lump is reduced a bit but not completely.what shld I do to make lump disappear and also little pain is there for my baby.Kindly help

A. if the baby is having some swelling in the thigh after vaccination and if it is too long difficult to comment like this without a proper examination so it is advised to consult your doctor once for proper examination and accordingly the doctor will guide you in this matter so consult dr

A. Hello dear parent! Try giving cold compress on the paining area. It will get better gradually. There shouldn’t be any problem. Maintain a good personal hygiene for your baby. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Good luck and take care.
