Q.

Hi My baby is 9months old , as per her immunization record Measles vaccine should be given at 9months,but as per singapore guidelines measles is given at 12months. I need to travel to singapore so could you clarify me that can we give Typhoid vaccine at 9 months and measles at 12 months. Thank you.

A. it can b eguven. Immunization should be done if feasible for infant as they are primary vaccines but can be delayed for about 14 days . But other vaccine can be delayed for a month or so . . Influenza vaccine should be given yearly as covid vaccine is still under trial and flu vaccine is recommended.
