Q.
Hi my baby is 7 months old now he was born at 36 weeks and he weighs 6.3 kgs now. Is that very less. I m very much worried about his weight.

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. The average weight of a 7 months old boy should be around 6.7 to 8.5 kg. Keep breastfeeding your baby. Make sure that while feeding, the baby empties one breast first before moving on to the next breast as the milk that comes towards the end is hind milk, which is rich in fat. Add ghee in small amounts to your baby's moong dal khichdi. Give mashed bananas, pears, avocados, mashed sweet potatoes and potatoes. Give curd. You can also give fruit smoothies. Give ragi.
