Q.

Hi... My baby is 6 months old. I was giving Calcimax-P syrup till the completion of 6 months. Should I continue the same or is there any other syrup for calcium???

A. you can continue this medicine after 6 months of age but the important thing is that if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to continue this medicine and you have to give only vitamin d supplement and not calcium

A. Give your baby 5 micrograms of vitamin D3 as a supplement every day from birth to 12 months if they are: breastfed. taking less than 300mls or 10 fluid oz (ounces) of infant formula a day.
