Hi, my baby is 4days shy from 4month n his current wt. is 6kgs. His birth weight was 2.56kgs; my question is his weight gain has been slow specially in the 4th month. He is on mix feed breastmilk n formula. What could be the reason for slow weight gain?

A. This is good weight gain, By 4 months, many babies have doubled their birth weight. This month, babies gain about 1 to 1¼ pounds (560 grams) and about 0.8 inches (2 centimeters) in length.
