Hi, my baby is 3 months 18 days old, his birth weight was 3.1kg and now he is 6 kgs, he gained only 300gms from past 3 weeks but he is peeing 8-14 times per day and he is active, is it normal or is there any problem in rate of weight gain?

A. Dear mum, weight of 6 kg is absolutely normal for your 3+ months old baby, considering a birth weight of 3.1 kg. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier.
