Q.

Hi , my baby is 17 months old.all at my home including baby got infected with COVID on Feb 8.her routine vaccination is due and yesterday we gave the vaccine. but I read we need to wait for one month to start the routine vaccine to baby after COVID infection. please give advice and anything needs to be done.

A. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination. Pulyse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine before then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine.

A. Hi mom If u got ur baby vaccinated then no need to worry.. Yes the gap of one month should be there but if u got ur baby vaccinated then also no need to worry...take care and all the best
