Hi, My baby is 10 months old, she is having cough n cold and fever too since 2 days, I am giving medicines as prescribed by the doctor, she was all fine, after I gave her medicines today she was watching rhymes and she started crying and still crying continuously, she is not even latching or having any other foods, she cries when I carry her. what could be the reason please help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydravhtion needs to be maintained .
