#asktheexperts Hi doctor, My baby is 50 days old and he is having cold n cough. We had given him medicines also as prescribed by doctor.but after few days he again caught the cold n cough. Currently we are giving him home remedies. Could you suggest me what shall be done?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalatrion can be given frequently to relieve the symptomfs.
