Q.

Hi my baby has umbilical granuloma tried salt treatment but intially it shrunk . No changes then after giving antibiotics also its still visible. With a light yellow sticky discharge and no odor. Now after salt treatment it looks like this. Is this how its supposed to heal? I check with my pediac he says to continue salt application

A. Namaste Mom Salt treatment is suggested , but other alternative to it is sliver nitrate as well, though antibiotics are recommended and that is already been given, keep the area clean and dry
