Q.

Hi, my baby girl is 5 months old. she was given 3rd dose vaccine today. she got 100.4 fever. I have P-100 drops with me.. please suggest the dosage to be given to her

A. you have to give paracetamol for fever as well as pain according to the weight of the child as well as according to the strength of paracetamol medicine you are having. there are different strength of paracetamol available in the market that is it may be in the drocps formulation which might be having power of 100 mg or or 125 mg or 150 mg in ceach 1ml. in syrup formulation paracetamol has got different powers like 120/ 25mg and 240/ 250 mg in each 5ml. so the doctor will calculate the docsage according to the power and weight of the child. paracetamol can be given max 4 times per day
