Q.
hi, my baby girl is 10 months today. her weight is 7.9kg today and not increasing.. in the last 3 Months. her weight has increased just 500gm. I am concerned. her birth weight was 3.7kg. also she is having a fever on and off, cried uncosably and is drooling a lot. is she teeting

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and by that pattern only the weight gain in child is seen.
it also depends upon the diet the child is taking.
so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplements.
the child should be given different flavours and recipes made from cereals pulses vegetxable milk and fruits daily in small amount.
you can add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child.

Teething could be happening with your child and why your child is crying and consolable and drooling a lot because probably your child is having too much of irritation and itching into the gums also I’m going to recommend you that as of now you can start giving homoeopathic tablet number 21 to the child and give more of liquids during this time
