Q.

Hi!My baby boy a pre term baby in 6th month and was 700 gms but is 9months old and 6.5 kgs.But the doctor consider him as 6 months old(3 months pre) .The food has just been allowed a week back in soup and ceralac and fruit puree.What else to be done eo that he can reach a better weight catagory.

A. hi dear mom since your baby was 3 months Preterm the growth and weight gain cannot be compared to the standard growth charts which are for full term healthy babies so follow the guidelines of the doctor add ghee and powder nuts to the food consistency of food should be like that of ghee

Q. Hello Doctors, My baby boy was born as premie at his 6 month and just 700 gms, but now doing well. I am worried about the two issues, one is about gaining weight. He is now 1 year and 3 months old and weight is about 7.5 kgs.
