Q.

hi, my age is 32 yrs.. and weight is around 44.5 kgs I tried everything but my weight was not increasing. my immune system is also not very strong. my friend suggested me to take ashwagandha and shatavari for good health. but i was confused to consume both medicines or not becoz i am breastfeeding mom. so dear pedetritian's pls tell me is both medicines are safe for my baby if I will consume it. I genuinely want to increase my weight.

A. Yes both the medicines are safe and even you can take ashwagandha capsules from Himalaya and even shatavari helps in increasing milk flow so they are safe while feeding the baby

A. Yes you can take, It's most recognized for its benefits in regards to women's health. This can range from reducing stress to increasing milk supply postpartum by increasing prolactin levels. Shatavari is good for breastfeeding moms because of its ability to increase milk supply, balance hormones and act as an antioxidant.
