Hi, my 9 months old son has pimples on legs, butt and hands. it started on butt and is slowly spreading to legs and hands. could you please suggest. the baby is itching and due to this they are becoming painful for him and is crying a lot.

Hand foot mouth disease is viral in origin and mostly symptomatic treatment is required because it is a self limiting disease and here fever come and small gueruptions may be seen in hands foot face and other parts of the body along with oral ulcerations so give plenty of liquids to maintain proper hydration and maintain a good hygiene . Some multivitamin syrup along with antihistamine can be given . For oral ulcer dologel can be applied locally
