Hi ... My 8 yrs boy is suffering with a wound from last 1 week .. it is a different wound and it is like a round wound and it is getting spread on nerve day by day ..could u pls suggest what kind of a wound it is ..to whom I have to consult skin specialist or pediatrician

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. Mupirocin, an antibiotic, is used to treat impetigo as well as other skin infections caused by bacteria. It is not effective against fungal or viral infections. This medication is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.
