Q.

#hi my 2.5 year child has fever (100) & chills since 4 pm yesterday, we have given combiflam syrup at 5 pm and feel well, however at 3 am midnight once again fever & chills start. so give 5 ml combiflam syrup again. please advise further treatment. can we wait 1 or 2 days? or needs to undergo any test and consult a doctor?

A. hi Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose. Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor

A. it's more now. this shall need a doctor nearby visit to know in detail about the issue and then can be done as per the advise available for now so need to consult in person for this issue .
