Hi, my 1 month and 20 days old baby got cough and cold ,her voice is changed from yesterday what should we do

A. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor . As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful . Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines like sifsnarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
