hi , meri beti 20 days ki hai aur lagatar 5 days se fever AA Rahi hai aur ja Rahi hai matlab 1 din me 1 baar paracetamol (p-100 syrup) daalna hi padraha hai , temperature 99.4 tak dikha raha hai, phir syrup daalne ke baad poora din aur raat normal temperature dikha raha hai,Aisa kyun ho Raha hai?pls reply

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fever haved to give paracetamol(max 4 times per day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctord please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.

Is it has been almost 5 days and the fever is coming and going like this I suggest you to consult your doctor and get a blood test done for your child because this could be either viral or some another kind of fever where in it is a very minor fever but it’s best to go ahead with the further assessment of the child or further testing is required
