Q.

Hi Mam, I'm mother of 20 days old baby girl, I'm not getting sufficient milk for breast feeding for my baby can you please suggest any medicine for that

A. allopathic medicines (domperidone/domstal , perinorm) are available to increase breastfeeding milk but are given after medical consultation only because they cannot be continued for long time. have got side effects if taken for long duration. you can go for shatavari supplement which will also help in increasing the breast milk formation (eg lactonic granules, galact granules etc ). you have to drink plenty of water and at least 500 ml milk everyday as well xas homemade food from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily. continue the health supplements given by your doctor.

A. You can take Shatavari powder three times in the day with warm milk which is what is going to be good as of now along with that it’s very important for you to focus upon plenty of liquid and focus upon a very very healthy banner that which is very important
