Hi. Im a mother of 14 month old girl baby. I used to breastfeed her but my right side nipple becomes hard and very painful during breastfeeding.. Pls suggest me why this is like and what should i do for this in my home to cure

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. it is always better to take help from your lactation expert who will recommend you various methods for improvement. It is completely related to hormones and the signal sent to the brain so it is very important to stay positively motivated.medicines are not of much help.if there is pain you can apply cold press locally an-d take Dolo tablet which is safe.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. Just Do hot compress regularly that is going to soft and it over the period still if you feel that it is hard or having too much of pain while feeding the child then that could be a nerve related issue then you’ll have to consult a doctor for that
