HomeQuestions & AnswersHi,
I need help regarding my daughter. It's two days she started with her schooling. But after returning home on the very first day she started crying saying she don't like the teacher because her teacher said mama will not come just because she must have kept on asking when mama will come. Some how I managed to make her understand and made her believe that even if teacher said like tht i will definitely come to pick you because you are my baby and I want u. Second day she went to school and came back and didn't cry . Then suddenly during dinner time she started crying saying I don't want to go school . Teacher said to eat eat food. So I made her understand as Mama tell you to finish food teacher said the same. So thats fine , teacher is like mama only , how mama shouts when u don't listen that's all. But still she is crying and being stubborn on her decision. Since it's holiday tommorow we didn't talk about it more. I am more worried for her as i don't want to force her but how do I convince her. She is studying in junior kg
Pls help me.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. this type of behaviour / stranger anxiety is very common and after corona this problem has aggravated because the children could not go outside to socialize. it is important that you should take the child outside and stay with the child so that along with you present in the surrounding the child will be able to to observe people and then gradually mingle with people and children there is no need to hurry that the child shzould immediately play with other children or or people and you should give space and time to the child to work upon it, there is no need to worry and the child will definitely come out of this scared behaviour.

Rashmi GuptaMom of a 11 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. See I think you need to talk to the school authorities because this kind of a behaviour towards the child is not good at this age the teachers cannot talk like this they can probably say that you know the Mama is going to come in sometime but till the time Mama doesn’t come you have to play with us you have to stay with us and similes for food that you are a good child you should you know finish out the attitude and the tone of the teacher has to be very friendly and loving see you know if the teachers keep saying the same every now to have a negative impact so I think you should talk to the teacher first and make her understand the mindset of your child as well going to school said she has to be more considerate towards your child
