Q.

hi, I'm mom of 4months, and my baby is often having cold half issues. and my mother in law is taking cancer treatment in siddha. and she is very sick now. she is touching the baby and kissing him . should I stop her ?. does my baby get sick because of her ? and should I use hand sanitizer after touching her before touching baby? please help me this is really worrying me

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold g In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
