Q.

hi I'm a moth of a 3 month old baby I only breast fed him less than a month after he was born because of very low supply of milk after that I fed him formula now he is exclusively on formula milk , I want to breast feed him is it possible to relactate what can I do ? please help

A. exclusive breastfeeding has to be continued till completion of 6 months of age and you have to drink plenty of water and at least 500 ml milk everyday as well as homemade food from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily e as well as you can go for Shatavari supplement which willl also help in increasing the breast milk formation

A. It Isn’t an easy easy job but you can try if you want to you can start with medicines if the lactation increase then you can continue breastfeeding the child otherwise formula is also a good option women who do not produce sufficient lactation they always give formula only and it is perfectly good
