hi I'm a mom to a 6 months old baby and I'm exclusively breast feeding my baby.. from yesterday I'm having cold can i take tablets?? plz help

A. Yes you can take medicine for cold and take good rest for faster recovery and have warm liquids like soups and cover your mouth and nose while feeding the baby and wash your hands before handling the baby

A. Hello dear parent m! A paracetamol is alright while breastfeeding. Avoid self medication. Try taking steam inhalation to reduce the discomfort. If the problem is severe then consult your doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Mention that you are a breastfeeding mother. Good luck and take care.
