Hi..I have taken vaccine today (Covishield)..Can i breastfeed my baby..she is 6 month and 26 days old..also any other precautions I need to take..

did you see any issues after taking your vaccination? is brest feeding continued and any recommendations u want to make? We're planning to take vaccination (Covishield) sometime this week

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. according to the current guidelines the recommendation for lactating mothers pregnant women and children is not there for covid-19 vaccine so it cannot be given to these category of people so wait but if you have taken the vaccine then you should not stop breast breastfeeding
