Q.
Hi, I have given vaccination to my child through government.Today she has taken her 3+ vaccination.Govermwnt only give 2 doses of PCV.Today she has taken pcv-2.So pcv-3 is required?As in private they give 3 doses of pcv. #Vaccination

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 3 months old now you need to confirm if you have got pneumococcal vaccine from government hospital as it's not heard off pcv is an optional vaccine and is taken from private hospital only

Hello ma’am It would be better that you please consult a paediatrician only for the same because if it is recommended and it is mandatory then you have to go for it even if you have to go with a private Doctor No issues at all but for that you have to consult a private paediatrician first to clear this query
