Q.

Hi., I have 2 months 20 days old baby. My baby birth weight is 2.500 and now 3.800 and still she looks as same as 1st month.doctor said she is underweight so he suggested expressed milk or formulated milk. Three weeks back I started adding expressed milk and formula and she stopped breast feeding After a week of introduction bottle feed(even I used new born bottle nipple-suggested by doctor)now the problem is she is not taking bottled feed also properly. Gaining weight around 20g/day someday less than that. Pls suggest

A. your baby is having appropriately normal weight gaining no need to worry about this continue to feed the baby at frequent intervals do not worry much about the weight gain .

A. Yes, at first. Babies are born with some extra fluid, so it's normal for them to drop a few ounces when they lose that fluid in the first few days of life.
