Q.
Hi I had my first period after 6 months of c section delivery on 1st may 2024. we never intimate between these 6 months of post partum.recently we had intimate with precautions 4-5 days before my period date and now my periods are late. what could be the possible reason behind it? should I consult with my gynaecologist or is this normal after delivery?my periods are 7 days late now

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. there can be some ir regular periods after delivery and cesarean section ok. There can be lot of individual variation in the problem sometimes there is need to do physical examination and if required for investigations also to come to the diagnosis and give appropriate advice ok
