Q.

hi! I had c-section on 15 Dec 2020. I had not yet got periods. consulted doctor today. doctor said without getting periods I can't do iucd or use tablets to get periods n later I will do iucd. Is it true? can I do iucd now r no? please let me know

A. You may not have periods till a year after delivery if you are breastfeeding Anytime between 4 month to a year is normal You can get copper T inserted before that But insertion is easier when in periods And it rules out pregnancy You can consult other doctor Connect for more details and information here Go to my website Www.familygynaec.com
