Q.

hi I am not able to produce milk throughout and I have to depend on lactogen to feed the baby. I feed 70% of the day with lactogen. Pls guide me if this may affect my baby.

A. hi...Breast milk works on demand and supply, the more u nurse ur baby the more milk it will produce, so keep feeding frequently. Dates, nuts like almond, cashew, walnut, pista, coconut, a glass of milk with dry fruit powder, lentils or dal, a spoonful of methi daily, should be added in your diet to increase breastmilk supply. You may take Zandu Shatavari powder daily two times with milk .
