Q.

hi, I am mother of 2 n half month old son, in this past few days I have noticed that the amount of my breast milk is become less n it's not sufficient for my son. can u suggest me what could be the reason for decrease in breast milk

A. Stress or dier it is very important to meet lactational expert who will guide you weather there is any problem in position and attachment while giving breastfeeding and what diet you can follow to increase breast milk. at the same time go to various videos and articles on firstcry and YouTube regarding breastfeeding as well as position and attachment. exclusive breastfeeding has to be continued till completion of 6 months of age and you have to drink plenty of water and at least 500 ml milk everyday as well as homemade food from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily e as well as you can go for Shatavari supplement which will also help in increasing the breast milk formation

A. Hello dear parent! Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby. Include methi in your daily diet to increase breastmilk supply. If required take the help of a lactation expert for further advice. Good luck and take care
