Hi I am mom of 4months old baby. My baby having running nose from yesterday, what can we do as a home remedy to control it

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the sympjktoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

keep the baby in elevated position while feeding and sleeping .
apply baby Vicks vapour on the chest back and feet.
put saline drops in the nostrils you can even use rubber suction bulb to clean the excess mucus from the nose
