Q.

hi I am a mother of 7 th month old boy baby can I start cerelac to my baby bcoz he has a constipation problem by birth it's self that's why I am asking this question for clarification

A. hi meri baby 6 months ki hai but wo kuch khana nhi chahti . sirf breastfeeding hi karti hai.

A. Hi mom ..! Cerelac contains added sugars which is not good for baby, sugar and salt should be a avoided until 1 year of age..! Try to prepare home made rice cereals, steamed and mashed fruits etc.. if you want ready to use foods. I myself used stage 1 foods from brand “Tummy friendly” which are organic.

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi sjppolid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medicatfions are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
