Q.

Hi, I am 5 month and 29 days postpartum .my supply had drop drastically in 1 month. I just produce 6 oz in total. How can I gain my supply back. I do drink soak fenugreek and fennel seeds in the morning . Please help me

A. Good Morning Mommy, There are various reasons for decreased milk supply, make sure you are taking a balanced diet with good quality protein and sufficient amount of complex carbohydrates. also ensure optimum hydration. the more the baby suckles the more will be the milk supply, if baby is refusing to latch try pumping breast milk to increase the supply.

A. Hello! The more your baby takes in your breast milk directly, the better supply. It keeps changing as your baby appetite also keeps changing with growth. As long as the baby is able to breastfeed directly well on demand, there shouldn’t be any problem. Speak to your Dr for further guidance
