Q.

Hi! I am 33+yrs old woman. Mother of 2 yrs 5 month old kid. Delivery through c- section.After delivery my period continued for 2 months then it stopped for long 2 years. Within that I consulted my gynecologist who assisted that it's ok if I dnt get period for 2 years if I am breastfeeding .After 2 years I got period last December which was ok. Next month I got only red discharge then stopped. Again next month I got a regular period.Again this month from last 2 days I am getting only brown red discharge...is it a prblm?Please pour ur suggestion?

A. Hi parent Irregularities in periods is because of the hormonal Imbalance caused by the hormones responsible for lactation So as long as you are breast feeding you will have irregular periods. After stopping it gradually you will get your periods normally . Please keep breast feeding as it's the best food for baby.. (I believe you are still breast feeding)
