Q.
Hi experts, my boy baby is 5months old. he suffering from fever, cold and cough from past 2days... doctor gave antibiotic and paracetamol...but he could not able to feed a milk due to cold... am very afraid about he could not take proper feed.. kindly give ur advise

Nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus Try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation . Anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation. For fever and pain give paracetamold Continue the regular diet which is being given to the child x

Keep your Child’s head in proper elevated position when you are feeling this is going to help also try to feed the child when your child is almost on the verge of sleeping because that time they can take feeding easily so that something that you can do as of nowWrite Your Answer Here
