hi experts, I have acne,so doctor prescribed me isotretinoin 20mg. I took only 2 tablets alternate days, which I stopped after letting that its not good if ur planning. will there be any side effects if m planning for pregnancy? tried to reach my dermatologist he is out of town. thank you in advance.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Previously it was said that there should be a gap of. One year and these days they are saying that a gap of 3 months is fine. As you have stopped early,kindly give gap of 3-4 months and start folic acid medications right away. Before you plan have a talk with your gynecologist also
