Q.

Hi experts...I have a one month and 12 days old baby. he is on breastfeed as well as formula due to low lactation. when I breastfeed him I m not sure if he is getting enough milk and not hungry anymore. how do I know he is full or satisfied. is it possible that a baby is hungry but still go to sleep. he has colic and reflax issue. I am scared that keeping him hungry might increase the problem. can some please advise.

A. baby has to pass urine 8 to 10 times per day and gain 20 to 25 grams per day in first 3 months of age Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required
