Hi Dr...My son is 2.9 months old...he is not speaking well...he says only AMMA...all outside people r forcing me to teach me...every time i show my lips to pronounce the word ..but he don't try...wen can i except speaking from him...kindly suggest...

A. Hello dear parent, there is nothing to be worried about. And do not listen much to people a outside. Ig is you and your child only. So just interact with your child alot and in a very clear tone, do not expect much in return. He definitely try and imitate after some time. By age 3 years mostly babies are able to speak mama papa Dada Dadi etc.
