Hi Dr My child is 14 mnths old. He have enough hair and in between I noticed dry patches of skin on his scalp. Sometimes he scratches it a lot. I apply homemade coconut oil and wash using sebamed shampoo. What should I do to get rid of this dry patches? is it normal?

Consult your doctor who will examine the baby and will advise you with further management and investigations if any required because without examination it is difficult to comment on the current situation

Mami you are using coconut oil still if you can see dry patches into that area then I suggest you to get a check with a dermatologist ones because without proper assessment it would be difficult to diagnose the problem as to why there are issues even after applying proper or who made coconut oilWrite Your Answer Here
