Q.

Hi Dr, my 1and half month boy baby pases dark green or Mehandi green colour poop. He drinks both breastmilk and lactogen due insufficient milk in my breast. He is active. I am afarid that is there any problem.

A. as he is active, also green stool are normal. Certain brands of formula milk resulting in green poop. Imbalance in foremilk and hind milk also causes green stools.It Can be remedied by limiting feeding times or sticking to one breast when feeding your baby.

A. Breastfed baby poop is considered normal when it's a mustard yellow, green or brown color. It is typically seedy and pasty in texture and may be runny enough to resemble diarrhea.
