A. Dark green poop in a baby, especially when they're on both breast milk and formula (like Lactogen), is generally not a cause for concern if the baby is otherwise active, healthy, and feeding well. The color can be influenced by several factors: 1. Formula Feeding: Formula-fed babies often have stools that are darker green compared to exclusively breastfed babies. The iron content in formula milk can sometimes cause darker stools. 2. Incomplete Digestion: Green stools can occur when food moves quickly through the digestive system, causing biliverdin, a green pigment produced when the body breaks down red blood cells, to remain in the stool. This is more likely to happen if your baby has a faster digestion process. 3. Dietary Factors: If you're consuming certain foods that may influence the color of your breast milk (like green vegetables, foods high in iron, or vitamin supplements), it could cause your baby’s stools to be green as well. 4. Foremilk and Hindmilk Imbalance: Sometimes, if the baby is not feeding long enough on each breast and gets more foremilk (the milk at the beginning of a feed) and less hindmilk (the fattier milk at the end), it can cause green stools. Foremilk tends to be less fatty and more watery, and the imbalance can lead to quicker digestion and a greenish hue. 5. Minor Stomach Upset: A slight tummy upset can lead to green stools. If your baby is otherwise healthy and doesn't show signs of discomfort (like excessive crying or fussiness), this is usually not a concern. When to Be Concerned: If the green stools are accompanied by other signs of distress like vomiting, poor feeding, or excessive fussiness, it’s a good idea to consult your pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues like infection or digestive problems. However, if your baby is active, healthy, and not showing signs of discomfort, there's typically no need for worry about dark green stools. Keep monitoring, and if you're still concerned or if the stool changes in other ways (like becoming watery or having a foul odor), it's a good idea to talk to your pediatrician.

A. Actually the green coloured motion and grey coloured motion when a child passes is basically because of the formula milk Kohli that you are giving to the child and you are very clearly stated that your child is on formula so that’s the reason behind it
