hi dr. I have 2 kids one is 2 month old and another one under 2 years...both have cough and cold..I have question that can they infected with covid 19 XE varient?....because now there is lots of covid cases in kids ..N also there is weather change because of that most of the people get cold and cough...But I m concerned about covid symptoms that is also same nowadays #AsktheExpert

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. due to weather change Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Breathe warm mist, such as with shower running in a closed bathroom. Give warm clear fluids to drink. Examples are apple juice and lemonade. Age under 3 months. Don't use warm fluids. Age 3 - 12 months of age. ... Reason: Both relax the airway and loosen up any phlegm.
