Hi doctor my son is 8 months old now. Since he was 6 month, he has been eating pureed food. I'm trying f to make him eat thick textured foods But he's gagging n vomits everything some too. How do I make him eat solids?? He doesn't eat independently. I feed him.. Please help me..

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi parent your kids 8 months old, you may need to continue liquids and semisolids for some more time, as this is the period of teething, and it may be difficult to cope with solids right away..

This is very common in babies but it get cured by its own in next few days. But you have to feed semisolid food to your baby. Don’t give grind food to your baby now otherwise baby will never accept proper food. Baby should take 4 to 6 meals in a day is maintain a diet chart according to that.
